These experiences should make us uncomfortable so that we have the opportunity to fail with support and hopefully use it as an opportunity to learn and grow. I have to be honest, it was really hard to find something positive to write about….

This blog is dedicated to the education, empowerment, and wellness of the members of this community. I will use my passion, education, and experiences to promote your personal & professional development while encouraging you to create & maintain a healthy lifestyle.

It is my goal to encourage the members of this community to challenge the way they think about mental health, addictions, social justice, advocacy, self-care, and wellness. I want to help you erase stigmas and understand the barriers and challenges these populations & those of us that serve them face.

You’re in the right place if you’re a student, a young professional, working in a helping profession, or just someone who wants to get more information on these populations. It’s not easy doing what we do and we all need an accountability partner. But hopefully, with this blog, I’ll be able to give you some good information and with a little tough love be able to motivate you to prioritize your self-care so we can get through it together.
